The JFA U-14 Women’s National Football Championship final round will likely begin on November 2 at country’s premier venue Bangabandhu National Stadium instead of last week of October as scheduled earlier.
Organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), the preliminary round of the Championship ended on August 25.
The matches of the preliminary round were played in six venues (Laxmipur, Gaibandha, Rajbari, Jessore, Rajshahi and Sherpur) where six teams emerged as zonal champions.
Now, with those six teams and two best runners-up teams will participate in the final round. The teams are as follows
Gaibandha venue – Thakurgaon U-14 team, Rajshahi venue – Rajshahi U-14 team, Laxmipur venue – Comilla U-14 team, Rajbari venue – Rajbari U-14 team, Jessore venue – Satkhira U14 team, Sherpur venue – Mymensingh U-14 team,1st runners-up – Tangail U-14 team and 2nd runners-up – Manikganj U-14 team.
The champions of the final round will receive Taka 50,000 while the runners-up will get Taka 25, 000 as prize money.
Besides, the best player of the tournament and highest scorer will have Taka 5,000 each.
