M Anisuzzaman Jewel of SAIF POWERTEC Chess split points with GM Riff Jean-Noel of France in 1st round game of the Al Ain Chess Classics Grandmasters tournament now being held at Al Ain in the United Arab Emirate (UAE).
GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib and GM Enamul Hossain Razib of Bangladesh Navy both won their 1st round matches held on Wednesday. GM Rakib beat Afshar Niusha of Iran and Razib beat Musallam Salim Al Aamri of Oman in their 1st round games.
