Jewel Rana and Saikat Shahriar moved to the boys’ singles semi-final of the Bengal Plastic Series Tennis competition eliminating their respective rivals in the quarter-final held on Wednesday at National tennis court complex in the city’s Ramna.
In the day’s other boys’ singles events, Leston Vaas of India, Fatikon Kaniafan of Laos moved to the semifinals after eliminating their respective rivals.
In the girls’ singles quarterfinals event, Boyewong Jeng, Ha Eng Ride and Highrim Jung of Korea, Rane Marry Ochena reached to the semi-final after beating their respective rivals in the quarter-final matches.
