The 55 Infantry Division of Jessore Region emerged champions in the Bangladesh Army Boxing Competition securing eight gold and two silver medals that concluded on Tuesday at Bogra Cantonment.
UP Sergeant M Abdur Rahim of Jessore Region was adjudged the best boxer of the tournament while UP Lance Corporal Khorshed Alam of the same team was adjudged the best promising boxer of the meet.
The 10 Infantry Division of Ramu Region finished distant runners-up collecting two gold, one silver and five bronze medals.
