Hosts Jessore District team emerged zonal champions to reach the final round of the Sailor-BFF National U-15 Football Championship beating Khulna District team by 1-0 goal in the zonal final at the Shamsuddin Football Stadium in Jessore on Friday.
Mizanur Rahman scored the match-winning goal for the home side in the 18th minute.
Sheikh M Maruf Hasan, an executive committee member of BFF and
Deputy Inspector General of Bangladesh Police was the chief guest in the day’s match.
Earlier, six district teams – Barisal, Sylhet, Thakurgaon, Narayanganj, Dhaka and Natore – emerged zonal champions to reach the final round of the meet.
