Rashed Khan Menon, tourism and civil aviation minister and also president of Workers Parry of Bangladesh on Friday said the government will take initiatives to modernise Jessore airport. The number of flights on Jessore- Dhaka route should also be increased.
The minister revealed the information while talking to leaders of Jessore Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Benapole Customs Clearing & Forwarding Agents Association at the officer of Workers Party of Bangladesh.
Iqbal Kabir Jahid, politbureau member of WP, Shahin Chowdhury, businessman, Matiar Rahman, C&F agent, AZM Saleq, social activist and WP leaders Jillur Rahman Bhitu, Mostafizur Rahman Kabul and Nazim Uddin were present during the views exchange meeting.
