Noted playwright and director Animesh Aich made 52-episode serial titled Ekhane Keu Thakena for Bangladesh Television (BTV). At the end of February shooting of first lodge of the serial took place at Jangalbari Resort (former Mohua Cottage) of Jolchhotro at Modhupur of Tangail. After taking part in the shooting for 20 days at a time, the full unit returned to Dhaka on March 17. Later, before Eid-ul-Fitr, its shooting was completed. After a break of many days, popular TV actress and model Nowrin Hasan Khan Jenny has returned to acting by this serial. Director Animesh informed that the serial will go on air on BTV soon.
While talking about acting in the serial Jenny said, “In fact, I got many offers to work in traditional story based dramas and serials. For this reason, I didn’t agree to act in those works. I have already passed two years not to work in any good project. I have liked story and my role in the serial Ekhane Keu Thakena. So, I agreed to work in the serial. After telecasting, I believe viewers will enjoy the serial.”
Romizer Ayna, Ekta Phone Kora Jabe Please, Chinigura Prem, Urojahaj, Golpota Chailey Bodle Deya Jeto, Joker, etc are Jenny-starrer mentionable works.
While talking about the main theme of the story of the serial director Animesh Aich said, “Basically story of Ekhane Keu Thakena is based on trust and mistrust. Ghost is like that. The person who believes in ghost it remains. On the other hand, who doesn’t believe, it not exist. Story of the serial continues with this concept.”
Besides Jenny, Mamunur Rashid, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Aruna Biswas, Faruk Ahmed, Bijori Barkatullah, Intekhab Dinar, Zitu Ahsan, Shahed Ali, Rawnak Hassan, Bhabna, Neelanjona Neela, among others, also acted in different roles in the serial, he also said.
