Jahangirnagar Cine Society (JCS), a film based cultural organisation of the university, announced a 10-member new executive body for the next one year.
Risan Ahmed and Roudranil Ahmed of Philosophy department were made President and General Secretary respectively of the new committee.
Chief Adviser of this organisation Professor Kabirul Bashar on Wednesday evening announced the new committee at the annual meeting of executive committee at Teacher Student Center (TSC).
The other members of the committee are Vice President Mazharul Islam Shaikat, Production Secretary Kazal Islam, Treasurer Tagar Devnath Shouvo, Workshop Secretary Fahim Faisal, Exhibition Secretary Rafiquil Islam Manik. Office Secretary Rahjit Das Chowhan, Library Secretary Vabna Mukharjee and
Publicity Secretary Sadat Mohammad Pal.
The organization is working to make skilled manufacturers and crew through
regular short film production and film related study.
