Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh on Sunday honored ten youths of the country by conferring Ten Outstanding Young Person (TOYP) Award for their contribution to different fields.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid was present as chief guest while State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam as special guest at the gala event in a city hotel on Saturday night, said a press release.
The Awardees were Hedayetullah was conferred the award for his contribution to Entrepreneurial Accomplishment, Imran Karim for Entrepreneurial Accomplishment, S M Saifur Rahman for Medical Innovation, Shamim Kabir Personal Accomplishment, Tahsan Rahman Khan for Cultural Achievement, Razee Mohammad Fakhrul, MP for Political Leadership, Nafisa Kamal for Moral Leadership, Syeda Kamrun Nahar Ahmed for Technological Development, Mehdi Hasan Khan for Technological Development and G Sumdany Don for Voluntary Leadership.
JCI members, media personnel, diplomats, government officials, business leaders, leading entrepreneurs, sponsors and dignitaries were also present in the event.
“JCI Bangladesh believes that TOYP recognizes the contribution of the youth of Bangladesh in shaping the economy and building a better Bangladesh,” the press release said.
JCI is a worldwide organization of young professionals and leaders between the ages of 18 and 40. The organization is found in over 120 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world.
