Nearly 16 months after the formation of its partial committee, a full-fledged 736-member committee of BNP’s student body Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) was announced on Saturday midnight.
Besides, new committees of JCD’s different units, including Dhaka University and its all hall units, Jagannath University, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka City North, Dhaka City South, Dhaka City West, and Dhaka City East, Dhaka College, Titumir College, Tejgaon College,
Govt Kabi Nazrul College, Govt Bangla College, and Dhaka district, were announced, said a JCD press release.
Al Mehedi Hasan Talukder and Bashar Siddik were made president and general secretary of JCD Dhaka University unit. BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia approved the JCD central committee, while its president Rajib Ahsan and general secretary Akramul Hasan approved the new committees of different units.
