JCD protests warrant against Tarique

Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) on Saturday demonstrated across the country, demanding the withdrawal of the arrest warrant issued against Tarique Rahman, the Senior Vice President of the BNP.
The university, the district and the Metropolitan units through out the country propelled the programme on the day.
The JCD, central committee, brought out a procession in the city’s Bijoy Nagor region with Central President Rajib Ahsan and General Sceretary Akramul Hasan, Senior Vice-President
Mamunur Rashid Mamun, Vice-Presidents Ikhtier Rahman Kabir, Alamgir Hossein Sohan and Mamun Billah, Joint Secretaries Asaduzzaman Asad and Mizanur Rahman Sohag in the front.
After the procession, the JCD President said, we strongly differ with the arrest warrant issued against Tarique Rahman. So, we urge the government to withdraw the warrant, said Rajib.
The JCD, DU unit, also brought out a procession led by DU unit President Al Mehedi Talukder and General Secretary Abul Bashar in the Shahbag region.
On the 29th September, an arrest warrant was issued against Tarique Rahman on charge of sedition.
