On July 19, law enforcers arrested Rajib and his five associates allegedly for keeping 45 Yaba pills and a bottle of liquor in a car at Lebukhali Ferryghat in Dumki upazila of Patuakhali.
However, the BNP Chairperson and former JCD leaders alleged that the information of recovering drug from Rajib was nothing but a pre-planed drama. They said the government arrested Rajib as a part of its evil plan to weaken the opposition.
Rajib was freed as he secured bails in all the 47 cases filed against him, said a JCD press release.
