Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader from Koyepara village in Rauzan upazila on Thursday afternoon, nearly 13 hours after he was picked up allegedly by police from Katalganj in the city.
Officer-in-charge of Rauzan Police Station M Kefayatullah said they recovered the body of Nurul Alam Nuru, assistant general secretary of JCD central committee,
blindfolded with his hands and legs tied with rope.
Meanwhile, local BNP leaders alleged that police picked up Nuru from a house at Katalganj in the city on Wednesday night.
