Police on Saturday arrested a leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) from Bahaddarhat area of Chittagong city.
The arrestee was Mosharaf Hossain, 25, joint secretary of Chittagong City Unit of JCD and its president of Chandgaon unit.
He is an accused in two cases filed with Chandgaon Police Station in connection with sabotage acts during the BNP-led 20 party alliance’s countrywide non-stop blockade, said SAM Shahjahan Kabir, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon Police Station.
