Pacer Abu Jayed is confused what to do. Jayed is now staying in Sylhet. If Sylhet is counted under ‘Red Zone’, how Jayed will take part in the practice session.
The coronavirus condition of the country is going worse day by day. So, the authority will announce the areas lockdown after judging the areas ‘Red Zone’, ‘Yellow Zone’ and ‘Green Zone’.
Earlier, Mushfiqur Rahim and other senior cricketers requested the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to give permission to participate in the practice session. Though BCB was not agreed with their proposal for the first time but later, BCB gave them permission to take part in the practice session.
BCB is going to prepare the fields of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar. The officials of BCB hope that the cricketers, who are now staying different areas can take part in the practice session.
Mushfiqur and other senior players want to utilize the practice facilities but Captain of Bangladesh Cricket (Test) team Mominul Haque was not interested to participate in the practice session. Mominul is now staying in Cox’s Bazar.
Promising speedster Abu Jayed is also confused. The coronavirus situation of Sylhet is very dangerous. Sylhet may be take place in ‘Red Zone’. In that case it will be impossible for Abu Jayed to participate in the training session.
Jayed said, ” The Government says stay home. On the other hand, BCB has arranged practice facilities for the cricketers. If the authority announces lockdown for Sylhet then how can I go to the field to participate in the practice session.”
