As Humayun Ahmed’s mystery novel Debi is going to come alive on the screen in the mid of October, the movie’s organizers leave no stone unturned to get its advent heard by everyone prior to its release.
As part of the promotional campaign, they came up with Debi Moncho model hunt, organized by Bishwo Rang, Debi’s wardrobe partner. On the ramp show, Jaya Ahsan will be joined by 20 selected models and actors and actresses of the film. The Debi Moncho ramp show is scheduled to be held on September 28 at the Central Court of Jamuna Future Park. Other actors and actresses of Debi including Chanchal Chowdhury, Shabnam Faria, Animesh Aich will be also present at the ramp show. It has more surprises to feature.
“This is the first time in Bangladesh that a fashion show’s costumer is aligned around the theme of a film. This is also part of the movie promotion. I care more about this as most people perceive that it is a classic movie, a concept we are set to change through this campaign. We thought of arranging this fashion show before as well. But we had to defer it owing to circumstances,” said Jaya Ahsan, producer and actress of Debi.
