Popular actress Jaya Ahsan will appear in the silver screen as Labonno Das, wife of noted
poet Jibanananda Das. Directed by Sayantan Mukherjee and produced by Pawan Kanodia, the trailer of Jhora Palok- The Epilogue was released on the occasion of Christmas Day recently.
The movie focuses on the life of Jibanananda Das. Bratya Basu and Rahul Banerjee will portray the renowned poet at different points in his life. The movie will focus
on the post-Tagore era in India. However, a character in the movie will be based on Kazi Nazrul Islam.
While talking about acting in the movie Jaya Ahsan said, “Labonno Das played a crucial role in the life of poet Jibanananda Das. Apart from his mother, she was the only woman in his life. She was his greatest inspiration. I am getting
a lot of good responses since the release of the trailer. I hope viewers will appreciate the movie.”
