The two-day 32th Jatiya Kabita Utsab 2018 will begin on the Dhaka University (DU) Central Library premises in the city today ( Thursday).
Jatiya Kabita Parishad (JKP) is organizing the national poetry festival with the theme ‘Poetry for the struggle of people without country’, said JKP General Secretary Tarik Sujat at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) VIP auditorium in the city.
Poets and litterateurs from home and abroad will participate in the festival. So far, poets from different countries, including India, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Mexico, Cameroon, Japan, Taiwan and Colombia have already confirmed their participations, he added.
