The newly formed ‘Jatiya Ainjibi Oikyafront’s first general meeting will be held today (Thursday) on the Supreme Court premises. Dr Kamal Hossain, Convener of ‘Jatiya Oikyafront’ will attend the programme as the chief guest.
‘Jatiya Ainjibi Oikyafront’s Member-Secretary Barrister A M Mahbub Uddin Khokan said, decisions will be taken in the meeting on various matters including the floating of the branch committees in the district bars.
To strengthen the Dr Kamal Hossain – led political alliance, lawyers of the country on Saturday formed ‘Jatiya Ainjibi Oikyafront’.
Advocate Zainul Abedin is the Convener and Barrister A M Mahbub Khokan is the Member-Secretary of the new lawyers’ alliance.
301 lawyers committee included Barrister Mainul Hosein, Advocate Khandker Mahbub Hossain, Advocate Subrata Chowdhury, Advocate A J Mohammed Ali, Advocate Saidur Rahman, Advocate Jaglul Haider Africk, Advocate Sanaullah Miah, Advocate Musud Ahmed Talukder, Advocate A Z M Fariduzzaman Farhad, Advocate K M Zabir, Advocate Golam Mostafa, Advocate Golam Rahman Bhuiyan, Barrister Andalib Rahman Partha, Advocate Yusuf Ali, Advocate Golam Mostafa Khan, said ‘Jatiya Ainjibi Oikyafront’s spokesperson Barrister A K M Ehsanur Rahman.
The lawyers agreed to fight united to establish rule of law and democracy in the country.
