The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM), will be observed in the port city on Dec 25 with due religious fervour and solemnity.
A colourful ‘Jasne Julush’ rally will be brought out from city’s Sholosohor Alamgir Khankha Sharif at about 8.40 am on that day.
Thousands of devotees from all over the country arrived in the port city early Friday and they will take part in the 41st Jasne Julush arranged by Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust (ARAST).
This was disclosed at a press conference by Mohammad Anwar Hossain, general secretary of ARAST held at Chittagong press club this morning.
ARAST and Gaoucia Committee Bangladesh organized the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi function.
Another, colourful rally ‘Jasne Julush’ will be brought out in Dhaka on December 22.
Besides, nearly 500 members of Anjuman Security Force (ASF) would work as volunteers to maintain discipline in the rally of Chittagong.
Awalade Rasul Sayed Mohammad Taher Shah will lead the rally of ‘Jasne Julush’ in Chittagong and Dhaka.
