Jashore Board has secured the top position among nine general educational boards with 98.11 percent pass rate in the HSC examinations held in 2021.
The pass rate of Rajshahi Board is 97.29 percent, while it is 96.20 percent in Dhaka Board, 97.49 percent in Cumilla Board, 89.39 percent in Chattogram Board, 94.80 percent in Sylhet Board, 90.43 percent in Dinajpur Board and 95.71 percent in Mymensingh Board.
Among the total examinees,10,66,242 students have been successful in the HSC examinations. A total of 11,15,705 students appeared in the examinations at nine general education boards held in 2021.
Rajshahi attains 97.29 pc pass
BSS from Rajshahi adds: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rajshahi has attained 97.29 percent pass in its examination of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC).
A total of 32,800 students got GPA-5 and the girls became advanced compared to the boys in terms of both pass-percentage and GPA-5 in the result.
Controller of Examination of the board Prof Ariful Islam published the result through a notification here this noon.
He said a total of 1,47,484 students appeared for the examinations and 1,43,489 of them came out successful showing a 97.29 percent pass and figuring 32,800 GPA-5.
Prof Islam also said pass percentage of girls is 98.51 against 96.51 percent among boys. Besides, 18,400 girls obtained GPA-5, while 14,400 boys got GPA-5.
He said the students appeared in the examinations from 759 colleges in eight districts under the board. Of them, 162 colleges attained a hundred percent pass.
