The district unit office of Bangladesh Nationalist Party was ransacked by miscreants on Saturday night. The miscreants also damaged the portraits of former president Ziaur Rahman, ex- prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman.
Apurba Hasan, officer-in-charge, Kotwali police station confirmed the information. ‘I don’t know who did the act,’ he told Newsmen.
Aninda Islam Amit, BNP candidate for Jashore-3 on Saturday night lodged a written complaint to Kanita Khanam, election commissioner, at Jashore Circuit House saying that his electioneering activists were being arrested and tortured now and them.
