Md Jashim Uddin, Vice Chairman of Bengal Group of Industries and former Vice Chairman FBCCI, has been appointed as Chairman of Bengal Commercial Bank for the next three years.
He was appointed for the post at a directors meeting at its head office in the city recently. Meanwhile, Mahbubul Alam, Chairman of Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Golam Mohammad, Managing Director of Max Infrastructure Ltd, were elected as Vice Chairman of the bank in the same meeting.
