Campus Report :A five-member delegation led by Prof Dr Fumiaki Suzuki, Executive Director, Vice-President of the Gifu University, Japan called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Sunday at the latter’s office of the university. DU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences Prof Dr M Imdadul Hoque and Prof Dr Haseena Khan of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology were also present on the occasion.During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest particularly strengthening bi-lateral relations between Gifu University and Dhaka University. They also discussed about exchange of Faculty members and students between the two universities for collaborative research and academic excellence to enhance higher education. An MoU between the two universities will be signed soon. Later, Vice-President of Gifu University inaugurated Gifu University Corner at the room No. 214 of the Administrative Building of DU.
