A two-member delegation led by Prof Dr Hidemitsu Furukawa of Yamagata University, Japan called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Sunday at DU VC Office.
The other member of the delegation was Hideshi Saito. Dean of the Faculty of Science of DU Prof Dr Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Professor of the Department of Chemistry Dr Md. Abu Bin Hasan Susan and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs by the University of Dhaka and Yamagata University, Japan. They agreed to sign a MoU in this regard soon.
Earlier, Prof Dr Furukawa delivered a special lecture on ‘3D Gel Printer and Life Innovation’ organized by the Department of Chemistry of DU at the departmental auditorium of the university.
