Jatiya Party (JaPa) Presidium Member and lawmaker Moshiur Rahman Ranga has been relieved of all posts of the party including presidium membership.
JaPa Chairman Golam Mohammad Quader, with the powers given by the party constitution, has removed Mashiur Rahaman Ranga from all positions including being the party’s presidium member, said a press release signed by JaPa joint office secretary Mahmud Alam on Wednesday.
This order has already been implemented.
“The former Secretary General Ranga has been relieved of the party, but we can’t say the reason behind, as it is decided by the party Chairman,” JaPa’s Joint Office Secretary Mahmud Alam said.
Ranga served as the Secretary General of
 JaPa from 3 December 2018 to 26 July 2020.
In an official statement on September 2, GM Quader said that some third party is trying to implement an agenda by using the party’s chief patron Rowshan Ershad’s name.
“She (Rowshan) is still respected by the party’s members. However, the leaders and activists of Jatiya Party will not allow any conspiracy against the party,” he added.
Moshiur Rahman Ranga was not available for comments despite repeated attempt to his cell phone.
