Belal Ahmed, Warasuzzaman Chowdhury and Zafrul Islam Chowdhury were elected as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Janata Insurance Company Limited respectively.
They were elected at Board of Directors meeting of the Insurance Company held on Tuesday.
Belal Ahmed hails from a prominent Muslim family from Sylhet. His father late MA Bari was an eminent businessman and founder Sponsor Director of UCBL. Ahmed is a founder and Managing Director of GoldenSon Limited which is a light engineering based 100 percent export oriented manufacturing company.
He is also one and only manufacturer of ‘Toys for Kids’ firstly in Bangladesh and exporting the toys more than 50 Countries in the World.
Warasuzzaman Chowdhury was born in a prominent Muslim family of Chattagram. He is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of City Center in Chattagram and an independent Director of Aramit Cement Limited.
Meanwhile, Zafrul Islam Chowdhury hails from a prominent Muslim family of Chattagram. His father late Sirajul Islam Chowdhury was an eminent industrialist and well known philanthropist.
Zafrul Islam Chowdhury is the Managing Director of Islam Steel Mills Limited, Eastern Engineer (Chatta) Limited, Siraj Ano Oxygen Limited, Siraj Ano Builders Limited and Southern Medical College and Hospital Limited.
