Chittagong Bureau :Vice chairman of BNP central committee and former minister Abdullah al Noman said January 5 was the democracy killing day and the tortures of govt with lodging motivated and fake cases against the leaders and workers of BNP will be faced through politically. He disclosed the democracy killing day while addressing the discussions on 34th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Krishak Dal and protesting the price hike of seeds, diesel and insecticides at press club on Thursday evening. He said following the price spiral of agri ingredients and fertilizers, insecticide medicines, the farmers are losing their interests in agriculture .He further said ballot is more powerful than bullets and now the democracy is killed through election of January 5 last . He called upon the oppositions leaders, workers irrespective party affiliations to raise their voice against the facist govt.President of north district Krishak Dal Ishaque Kader chowdhury presided over it while the former BNP leader Dr. Ena,mul Hoque, central KD organizing secretary MA Halim, former acing generay secreaty Prof. Yousuf chowdhury spoke in it.
