Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Jamie Day arrived in the city from England on Thursday to join the ongoing Bangladesh training camp ahead of the FIFA international friendly matches against Nepal.
Jamie Day, Goalkeeping Coach Les Cleevely, Assistant Coach Stuart Watkiss and Captain of Bangladesh National Football team Jamal Bhuyan also reached the city on the same day.
Bangladesh will play two FIFA international friendly matches against Nepal on November 13 and November 17.
Jamie Day through a video message on Thursday said Bangladesh Football team’s main focus will to comeback in football. Earlier, Bangladesh’s matches of FIFA Qualifiers 2022 and Asian Cup Qualifiers 2023 were postponed due to coronavirus outbreak.
Jamie hopes two matches against Nepal will lay the foundation for more matches in the coming year.
