Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Jamie Day became frustrated after Bangladesh lost to Kyrgyzstan Under-23 Football team by 3-2 goals in the friendly football match at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Thursday.
Earlier, Bangladesh tasted a 2-0 goals defeat to Palestine in Kyrgyzstan on September 5.
Later, Bangladesh lost to Kyrgyzstan by 4-1 goals on September 7.
After losing to Kyrgyzstan Under-23 Football team, Jamie Day said, ” Today’s match was a tough game. I expected a better performance from my side. Earlier, the two opponents teams of Bangladesh were stronger than my team and I realized that. But after watching the performance of my boys in Thursday’s match, I became frustrated.”
It may be mentioned that Sumon Reza, who was the replacement of Mashuk Mia Jonny, scoreed two goals against Kyrgyzstan Under-23 Football team. Sumon showed a spectacular performance after getting chance in Bangladesh XI as Masuk Mia was injured. It was positive sign for Bangladesh but at last Bangladesh lost to Kyrgyzstan.
Bangladesh Football team returned to Dhaka on Friday night. Rahbar Wahed, who is expatriate of Canada returned with the team but Tahmid, who is expatriate of France did not return to Dhaka.
The coaching camp marking the upcoming SAFF Championship will begin on September 20 under the supervision of Jamie Day, the Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team.
