Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Jamie Day arrived in Dhaka on Monday night. After finishing the Tri-Nation Cup of Nepal, Jamie Day went to England for a leave. Goalkeeping Coach of Bangladesh Football team Lee Cleevely also reached the capital.
The reporting of the preliminary squad of Bangladeshi footballers started on Monday.
Day and Lee underwent Covid-19 test before they reached their hotel. After that they have been quarantined for five days. Then they will undergo again a Covid-19 test. If they become negative for coronavirus they will join the coaching camp.
Earlier, Jamie Day announced on Saturday last the 33-member preliminary squad for the upcoming coaching camp marking the FIFA World Cup qualifiers 2022.
The rest of the Group-E matches of World Cup qualifiers will be held at Doha, the capital city of Qatar.
Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan on June 3, The Red-and-Green out-fit will face India on June 7 and Bangladesh will meet Oman on June 15.
