Jamalpu District Press Club Election was held on December 30 at the Press Club Auditorium. Advocate Yusuf Ali (jaijaidin) has been elected president and Shoaib Hossain, (Jamona tv/desh rupantor) has been elected general secretary.
Election Commissioner BirMuktijoddha Advocate Nazrul Islam announced the names of the winning candidates for all the posts in the election held after the general meeting at the Press Club auditorium on Wednesday.
Other officials elected for 2021 are, Vice President Kamal Hossain (Banladesh Observer), Zahurul Islam Thandu (Jugantar), Joint General Secretary Tanvir Azad Mamun (News 24 TV/Swadesh Pratidin), Treasurer Asmaul Asif (NTV/Share Biz), Office Secretary Tanvir Ahmed Hira (Dipta TV), Sports and Literature Editor Biswajit Dev Tutul (Dhaka Tribune).
The executive membres are, AK Mahmodol Hasan dara mia (Veteran Journalist BSS), MA Jalil (Editor Ajker Jamalpur), Mokol Rana (Dinkal), Shuvro Mehedi (DBC channel/Bangladesh pratidin), FA Makam (Bangladesh Betar/SA TV).
Jamalpur Police Super Deswar Hossein, ADC (sarbik) Mokhlesor Rahman, Jamalpur AL president Ad. Bakibillah, District BNP Secretary General and Ex-mayor Ad. Shah mohammad Wares ali Mamon, Former principal of Gov. AM college-University Mojammel haque and sonak president Ajoy kumar pal among others were present as invited guest at the general meeting.
On the other hand FA Makam (SAtv/Bangladesh Betar) has been elected as the president for 2022 and shuvra Mehedi (DBC/Bangladesh pratidin) has been elected as the general secretaty of the Jamalpur district press club.
