Planning Minister MA Mannan’s Personal Secretary Md Enamul Haque has been made new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Jamalpur district.
A circular was signed by K M Al-Ameen, Senior Assistant Secretary of Public Administration Ministry in this regard.
Earlier, Ahmed Kabir was made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the same day just days after a leaked video showed him in a compromising situation with a female colleague. In a separate notification, the Public Administration Ministry said the order would be effective immediately.
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam on Saturday said that they were looking into the matter and that it would be resolved within a day or two.
State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain had said that Kabir would face departmental action after an investigation.
