Prolific midfielder Jamal Bhuiyan will return to Dhaka today. Jamal could not take part in the first phase of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football for Saif Sporting Club as he played for Kolkata Mohammedan Sporting Club in the I-League.
Saif Sporting Club have completed registration formalities with Jamal Bhuiyan for the second phase of BPL Football. BPL Football was scheduled to be held from April 30. After completing his registration formalities with Saif Sporting Club, Jamal Bhuiyan went to Denmark in the first week of April.
As the coronavirus became outbreak in the country, the Bangladesh Government announced lock-down all over the country. So, the second phase of BPL Football became uncertain. Thus Jamal left Dhaka for Denmark. Later, Jamal went to Germany, where his wife is staying.
According to the rough fixture Saif Sporting Club will play their second match just after April 30.
However, Managing Director of Saif Sporting Club Nasir Uddin Chowdhury said to a local website, ” Jamal Bhuiyan will arrive in the city on Sunday and he will take part in the first match of the second phase of the BPL Football for Saif Sporting Club.”
