A Chittagong court on Wednesday sent former lawmaker and top Jamaat-e-Islami leader of Chittagong Shahjahan Chowdhury to jail after rejecting his bail prayer in a case.
Police said the Jamaat leader was shown arrested in the case filed under the Special Powers and Explosives Actswith Panchlaish Police Station.
