The first teaser for The Guilty unveiled the latest film from director Antoine Fuqua, screenwriter Nic Pizzolatto and star Jake Gyllenhaal. It is a remake of the critically acclaimed 2018 Danish film of the same name. Gyllenhall brought the remake rights after watching the film premiere at the Oscars where this was Denmark’s submission for Best International Feature. The film takes place over the course of a single morning in a 911 dispatch call center. Call operator Joe Baylor (Gyllenhaal) tries to save a caller in grave danger – but he soon discovers that nothing is as it seems.
