Jahangir Nagar basketball team emerged champions in the Bangabandhu Interuniversity Sports Cham beating Islami University by 70-57 points in the final held on Monday at American University Bangladesh basketball ground in the city. Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh MP formally inaugurated the final match as the chief guest while Nahim Razzaq MP distributed the prizes after the final. American University Bangladesh chancellor Dr Carmen Z. Lamagna , University trustee board chairman Nadia Anwar, sponsor Modhumoti Bank managing director Saiful Azam, Modhumoti Bangk deputy managing director Kazi Ahasan Khalil and Polar Icecream HD Division head Mehraz Hamid were present in the prize distribution ceremony.
