We mention many celebrities as legend but all of them are not really legend. But we do not know the real scenario of true legends. What they are doing now? Or how are they now? – We don’t know all. Playwright and Ekushey Award winner veteran actress Jahanara Ahmed is such a legendary actress.
While talking with this legendary actress this correspondent found that she is not well. Her younger son Imtiaz Ahmed is a cancer patient. A huge amount of money is spending for his treatment. After receiving treatment in Singapore, he has been admitted to CMH for last one year. Now he is staying with his mother Jahanara Ahmed’s Central Road’s residence.
Jahanara Ahmed, hailed from Faridpur, last acted in a drama serial titled Locket on BTV. She couldn’t say now in which work she last worked. While asking her about writing any play Jahanara Ahmed told this correspondent, “In fact, my mental condition is not good for writing any play right now. There is no plot in my head. I don’t know how long I can continue writing. If I feel good then I will write. I do not know how I will pass coming days. Right I am not well both physically and mentally. I am physically weak also. Everybody prays for us as May Allah keeps us well.” Baboner Meye, Songsahptak, Sokal Sondhya, etc are Jahanara Ahmed starrer viewers’ choice most popular play and serials. She wrote many plays for Betar. Once Jahanara starrer Necklace, Bon Mollika and Chhobol got popularity on BTV.
