Jafar Iqbal of The Daily Sangram emerged champion in the table tennis event Prime Bank-DRU Annual Sports competition beating Rumel Khan of Janakantha by 2-0 set in the final held on Wednesday at Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium.
On way to the final, Jafar Iqbal beat Torikul Islam Masum of Channel I by 2-0 set in the first semi-final while Rumel Khan defeated Maksud-Un Nabi of Channel 24 also by 2-0 set in the second semis.
Besides, Torikul Islam Masum of Channel I finished third position beating Maksud-Un Nabi of Channel 24.
