Director(Admn) of Chittagong Port Authority Md. Jafar Alam has been appointed as Member(Admn &Planning) of the port from Wednesday.
A circular in connection has been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday .
Before his appointment as Member of CPA, Jafar Alam joined the Shipping Ministry for few days.
Port sources said till new transfer of any officer in his previous post of Director, he will also look after the responsibilities.
