IU to take exams after Eid-UL-Adha

The authorities of Islamic University (IU) have decided to take examinations of honours and masters after Eid-UL-Adha.
The decision was taken at the 120th academic council meeting of the university held at th e Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman auditorium on the campus, IU acting registrar M Ataur Rahman confirmed the matter.
The departments will be allowed to take examinations with physical presence or on online if they want, he added.
Earlier, the 120th academic council meeting of the university was held on Saturday around 11:00am, presided over by IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam while treasurer Professor Dr Alamgir Hossain Bhuyan and registrar in-charge M Ataur Rahman were present.
Among others, the faculty deans and chairperson of the various departments took part at the meeting.
