The authorities of Islamic University in Kushtia will inaugurate a digital library access center on February 8 for providing reader services for the students in its central library.
IU vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will inaugurate the center as the chief guest at the Khademul Haramain Bandshah Fahad Bin Abdul Aziz central library in the morning, IU acting librarian Ataru Rahman said.
IU pro-vice-chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha will address the function as the special guests.
The university authorities will establish a website for the students to collect all kinds of necessary information from the center by searching their relevant topic at any place in the home and abroad, he added.
