The Islamic University (IU), Kushtia has chalked out an elaborate programmes to observe the Martyred Intellectuals Day on December 14 and the Victory Day on December 16 with due respect.
Programmes of the Martyred Intellectual Day include hoisting of national flag half-mast and black flag atop administrative building and residential halls, wearing of black badges, mourning procession, placing wreaths at university memorial monument.
Besides, prayers will be offered at central mosque for the salvation of the departed souls of the martyred intellectuals.
On the other hand, the Victory Day programmes will begin at 9 am through hoisting of national flag and university flag atop administrative building and residential halls.
Victory day rally will be brought out on the campus with the participation of IU family and placing of wreaths at ‘Mukta Bangla’ of the university.
