IU teacher gets Chinese Award for research

Tarek Hasan Al-Mahmud, Assistant Professor of Information and Communication Engineering Department of Islamic University in Kushtia, received best prize for his outstanding research in China.
IU public relation office said on Sunday that ‘iFly Tek’, a world renowned information technology based company, announced the name of Tarek Hasan for this award.
University of Science and Technology of China handed over the best prize to him in a prize-giving ceremony.
Earlier, the directors of laboratories in China sent thousands of research to a jury board. Among them 20 teachers were selected for this award. IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari, IU Teachers Association and EEE Department congratulated Tarek for his great achievement.
