IU observes Genocide Day today

The Islamic University (IU) authority in Kushtia has taken elaborate programmes to observe the ‘Genocide Day’ for the first time today on the campus.
Marking the day, the IU authority will bring out a protest rally on the campus around 11am on the day from the administrative building.
It will parade the main roads on the campus and ended at the first science building.
Later, a discussion meeting will be held at the hall room of that building where IU VC Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari is expected to attend as the chief guest.
Pro-VC Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr M Selim Toha and Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif are expected to attend the meeting as special guests.
IU Proctor Professor Dr M Mahbubar Rahman will preside over the programme.
