Assistant Professor M Nurul Islam was made new Chairman of Mathematics Department of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia .
University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Hakim Sarker appointed him to the post for the next three years, he added.
Nurul Islam replaced to the Assistant Professor M Asaduzzaman of the same department. He is the fifth chairman of the department.
