The Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia goes on a 9-day vacation from Saturday on the occasion of holy Eid-Ul-Azha and it will continue till August 26, an IU press release said.
IU Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif said the residential halls were closed on August 16 while the academic activities of the university were suspended from August 14.
After the vacation, the residential halls will be opened for the students on August 27 and the academic activities will be restarted on August 28, he added.
