Metal detector and close circuit camera will be used for the first time in Islamic University history to a fair admission test.
The admission tests for undergraduate courses of Islamic University in Kushtia under the academic session of 2015-16 will begin on November 15 and will continue till on November 18, registrar office sources said.
A total of 64,780 admission seekers have applied against 1,695 seats under eight units and five institutes in the intake tests in this year.
According to the tests schedule, the tests of ‘A` unit under Theology faculty and ‘B’ unit under Humanities and Social Science faculty will be held on November 15, ‘H’ unit under Theology faculty and ‘C’ unit under Humanities and Social Science faculty on November 16, ‘D’ unit under Physical Science faculty and ‘E’ unit under Applied Science and Technology faculty on November 17, and ‘F’ unit under Applied Science and Technology and ‘G’ unit under Business Administration faculty on November 18.
University Proctor Professor Dr Mahbubor Rahman said ‘for the security reason and fair examination we are setting CC camera everywhere in the university and metal detector will be used for the first time so that every electronics device can be detected.
