Popular actor Mazharul Islam came into the limelight around 2010 when he acted in a play titled Zainal Jadukar. Initially he was an assistant of noted director Mohon Khan for three years. While talking with this correspondent Mazharul said, “I am very much ambitious about my career. I had dreamt to be an actor. I started my career in media through online radio. Later I started my acting career by Tawfiq Kadir’s Magla Akash. Basically during childhood I was inspired of acting after watching late Humayun Faridee’s acting.” -Entertainment Report
