UNB, Dhaka :
BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed on Tuesday claimed that the government has apparently acknowledged its ‘non-existence’ by deciding not to ply long-haul passenger buses on highways after 9 pm.
” (This is how) the government will also be forced to shut government offices at day time very soon,” he said in a statement.
Earlier on Monday, the government decided to stop plying long-route buses on
highways after 9 pm to avoid any attack during the ongoing hartal and blockade.
However, goods-laden trucks and covered vans will continue to ply highways at night.
Mentioning that the Prime Ministers has termed the country’s political crisis manmade one, Salahuddin said Sheikh Hasina and her party is responsible for the crisis as it was created through the 15th amendment to the constitution.
